Deal Summary
We were approached by a client who had operated a successful News Agent business and now was looking to retire. He had negotiated the sale of the business to a third party but wanted to retain ownership of the Freehold on the property.
After being rejected by his incumbent lenders to extend his loan on an investment basis, he asked us if we could assist him in restructuring his finances.
We approached several lenders that provide Investment Property loans and invited them to make indicative offers that we could present to our client. Our client chose a 75% LTV deal which enabled him to repay his outstanding debt on the property whilst leaving him some surplus cash to make further property investments.
