It’s clear that the impact of the drive for new housing is starting to make a positive effect on the UK housebuilding sector, bringing some joy for developers and builders alike.
The National House Building Council (NHBC) has recently reported UK builders registered more than 43,500 new homes during Q3 2018, making it the highest quarter since 2007.
Some 43,578 new homes were registered during the period July to September, an increase of 15% on those registered in the same period 12 months ago.
Continued growth in new houses may reach the Government target of 300,000 homes a year, but there is still some uncertainty around Brexit and the impact that may have, but many builders are on with things like upskilling their workers and putting resource into new developments.
